Paystack co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer, Ezra Olubi, says he has been fired by the company over allegations of s3xual misconduct and insists he was dismissed unfairly. 

The development was disclosed by Olubi in a blog post published on Saturday, 23 November 2025, following days of controversy triggered by a viral social media post accusing him of abusive behaviour.

31-year-old man commits su!cide by jumping into domestic well in Kwara

 

A 31-year-old man identified as Abdullateef has committed su!cide by jumping into a domestic well in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, November 23, 2025 when residents were still asleep. 

The spokesperson of the Kwara State Fire Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, who confirmed the incident in a statement said the man had previously attempted to jump into the well but was unsuccessful.

A 29-year-old Nigerian man, Chukwuebuka Eweni is in custody after he stabbed his 75-year-old father, Samuel Eweni to d3ath and injured his two sisters in New Orleans, Louisiana, US.

Family members confirmed to WWL Louisiana that the deceased was was a computer sciences professor at Southern University at New Orleans.

Relatives say Eweni and his two daughters were st@bbed on Tuesday night, November 11, 2025. 

One of the victims was released from the hospital, the other is still being treated as of Wednesday afternoon and is expected to survive. 

Family members say Eweni has long suffered from mental illness but has never been violent.
