Wema Bank Launches Hackaholics Accelerator 2026 Cohort With Ten Startups

 

Wema Bank, Nigeria’s most innovative bank and the pioneer of Africa’s first fully digital bank, ALAT, has launched the 2026 Hackaholics Accelerator Program, welcoming ten startups into the cohort. The Hackaholics Accelerator, a selective growth program under Wema Bank’s Hackaholics platform, is designed to help promising Nigerian startups strengthen their business foundations and prepare for sustainable scale and investment.


After six years of driving innovation through Hackaholics, Wema Bank is extending its support beyond ideation and competition into hands-on startup building through Hackaholics Accelerator. The initiative provides founders with the structure, mentorship, and ecosystem access they need to turn strong ideas into viable, scalable businesses.

Athlete, Dak Prescott calls off wedding after fiancee refused to sign prenup

 

Dak Prescott and his fiancee, Sarah Jane Ramos, have called off their wedding roughly a month before it was scheduled to take place. 

Things between Prescott and Ramos, who share two children together, had been rocky for a while. It all boiled over during a joint bachelor/bachelorette party in The Bahamas. 

"We're told the relationship had been rocky behind the scenes for months ... but things came to a head with a blowup argument at their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas -- and Sarah Jane called it off," TMZ Sports reported.

Influencer ‘stranded’ due to Iran war because he refuses to fly economy class on available flight


 A travel influencer has faced criticism after saying he is stranded while appearing to refuse to fly economy class amid the Middle East crisis. 


Aviation enthusiast Daniel Goz, who is known for his travel channel Nonstop Dan, shared a video about his journey from Singapore to Europe. 


In a video initially titled "There Are No Flights Left," Goz told followers about his attempt to travel on the day when the US-Israel coalition started bombing Iran. 


Goz claimed he was "stranded in Asia".
