He highlighted the tactics used by land grabbers and certain "Omoonile" (local landowners) who falsely present themselves as customary landowners, deceiving individuals and leading them to lose their hard-earned money when purchasing property, particularly in areas under government schemes and those subject to government acquisition, as indicated in the 1993 acquisition gazette.

Enugu govt accuses Sujimoto CEO of defrauding state of N5.7 billion over smart schools project

 

The Enugu State Government has accused real estate mogul, Olasijibomi Ogundele aka Sujimoto, of defrauding the state of N5.7 billion paid for the construction of 22 Smart Green Schools across the state.

 

Recall that on Friday, August 5, the EFCC had declared Sujimoto wanted over his alleged involvement in a case of money laundering and diversion of funds.

In a legal victory for Adron Homes, the Federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has dismissed the suit brought by the Registered Trustees of the City of David Residents Association (CODRA) and five others, Elder Gbadebo Aromolaran, Mr. Adetokunbo Adeshile, Mr. Olaolu Ayinde, Olusegun Aba Yomi Esq, Oluwadamilare Awokoya Esq, against Adron Homes and Properties Limited.

A landlord identified as Chief Gbenga Ajibade, allegedly force fed a poisonous substance to a young man accused of stealing maize at Itetii Ayo, Ilesa, Osun State.

 

 

In a video posted by a journalist at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Isaac Haastrup, the young man is seen begging for mercy, citing hunger as the reason for his actions.
