In a thoughtful demonstration of support and encouragement, Moruf Oseni, the MD/CEO of Wema Bank, Nigeria’s oldest indigenous bank, most innovative and pioneer of Africa’s first fully digital bank, ALAT, has donated his ONE DAY salary for May 27, to Chiderije Mbah, a 12-year-old child who emerged winner in the Wema Bank 1-day MD/CEO initiative for Children’s Day.

Producers Olmo Zucca and Jackson LoMastro are suing Grammy-winning artist Tyla and her label over a dispute concerning royalties from her hit song "Water." The lawsuit, filed in California, alleges improper compensation and credit allocation for the 2024 Grammy Award-winning single.

Saudi Arabia suspends visa for Nigeria, 13 other countries ahead of 2025 Hajj

 

Saudi Arabia has announced a temporary suspension on issuing new short-term visas including business visit visas (both single and multiple-entry), e-tourist visas, and family visit visas for citizens of 14 countries, including Nigeria.

 

The moratorium, set to take effect on April 13, 2025, applies to nationals of India, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan, Bangladesh, and Libya, as per a report by Gulf News.
